About Me

I'm George — a data scientist and AI/ML engineer based in Nigeria.

My background is in Mathematics and Statistics (University of Port Harcourt), which explains why I ended up in ML. I started teaching programming in 2007 and haven't stopped since.

Over the past 8+ years, I've worked with companies in Nigeria, the US, and the UK — building everything from event ticketing platforms to pediatric healthcare systems to AI knowledge bases.

I've built computer vision models that hit 92% accuracy in field tests. I've designed NLP systems that classify thousands of support tickets. I've also trained 500+ people to code through SmartHub Academy.

Leading engineering teams is one of my core strengths. I've led developers across projects at Smartech Global, Thelix Holdings, and Flarif AI — making technical decisions, shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and shipping production work async across time zones.

Right now I'm building Flarif AI and running SmartHub Academy under Smartech Global.
